New Features, Fixes, and Enhancements
This week's release brings you appointment-related improvements requested by Sensei Cloud customers. Be sure to make your UserVoice heard!
Printing Patient Appointments
For patients who want something solid to help them stay on track, you can now print out a list of upcoming appointments and include notes or instructions regarding those appointments. You can also elect to include completed appointments for patients who want a full list for their records, to help keep track of what appointments they completed and when.
Print this list from the Patient > Home screen, using the printer icon on the Appointments list.
This functionality creates a .PDF file in your Downloads folder that you can print out and hand to the patient.
Note: These files are not saved in Patient Files.
For more information, see How to Print a Patient's Appointment Card.
Managing and Tracking Past Appointments
Patient appointments that are Cancelled, Failed, Unscheduled, and Broken are maintained in the Pending List for a Location (Location > Appt Worklists > Pending List) and for individual Patients (Patient > Home > Appointments > Pending).
Because the Location Pending List is used to reschedule appointments, an option has been added that enables you to remove an appointment from this list while retaining it on the Patient Home screen under Previous appointments. This enables you to streamline the list by removing appointments that are not candidates for rescheduling while retaining the history of the patient.
Note: If you select Delete from this screen, the appointment is removed from both the Location Pending List and the patient's Appointments list.
For more information, see How to Delete or Reschedule an Appointment From the Pending List and How to View Appointments From the Patient Home Tab.
New Appointment Status Visual Indicator on Schedule/Diary
Appointments on the Diary Day View and Schedule Day View include graphical indicators to let you know the status of the appointment. In response to customer requests, a Waiting to be Seated indicator has been added to the display after the patient is checked in and the appointment is marked Set as Ready.
In the example below, the appointment for Test Patient 13 shows a double blue bar and diagonal lines to indicate the patient is waiting and ready to be seated.
Note: This is shown only when Location Tracks Pre-Seated Activities is set to Yes. (Administration > Scheduler > Schedule Settings > [select location] > Edit Schedule Settings)
For more information, see How to Update an Appointment Status and How to Track Pre-Seated Appointment Activities.
