Confirming and Rescheduling Appointments Recorded Class
You can mange pending appointments from the Pending List (Location or All Locations tab > Appt Worklists > Pending List).
From this worklist, you can:
- Schedule pending appointments.
- Delete pending appointments completely.
- Remove appointments from the Pending List, but keep them in the Appointment List on the Patient Home page (in the Previous tab). See How to View Appointments From the Patient Home Tab for more information.
To delete, reschedule, or remove an appointment from the Pending List:
- From the Location tab, select Appt Worklists > Pending List. The Pending List is displayed.
- Apply Filters if necessary to re-display the Appointment Pending List with the desired criteria.
- Click on a Pending Appointment to launch a screen with additional information.
- Click Reschedule, Remove from Pending List, or Delete.
- Add a note, if needed.
You can also select multiple pending appointments and reschedule, delete, or remove them from the Pending List at the same time.
To reschedule multiple appointments:
- Select the appointments that you want to reschedule.
Note: You can filter the list by selecting a specific provider, date range, etc. You can also type a patient name in the search to quickly locate a particular patient. - Click Schedule Appointments. The Schedule Day View is displayed.
- In the Schedule Day View, the appointments are listed under To Be Scheduled. Navigate to the new appointment date.
Note: If your practice has multiple locations, you can also access the Pending List from the All Locations tab (All Locations tab > Appt Worklists > Pending List). If you select multiple pending appointments from different locations to reschedule, the system adds the pending appointments to the To Be Scheduled side panel of the Schedule Day View for each associated location. - Click-and-drag each appointment to the new time slot.
To delete or remove multiple appointments from the Pending List:
- Select the appointments.
- Click Delete Appointments to permanently delete the appointments, or click Remove from Pending List to remove the appointments from the list but keep them in the patient's Previous appointments (Patient > Home > [Appointment List]). A prompt is displayed asking you to confirm if you want to proceed with deleting or removing the appointments.
- Click Yes, Delete or Yes, Remove. The appointments are removed from the Pending List.
