Sensei Cloud enables you to track outgoing referral activity using the Outgoing Referral Activity Report, which pulls data that is entered in patient records and organizes it in one convenient location, within the Referral Activity List (Location > Referrals > Referral Activity).
This list provides visibility into how many patients you have referred out to external specialists as well as how many are open or closed.
From the Referral Activity List, simply select Show Outgoing Referral Activity, and then click Apply Filter to display the Outgoing Referral Activity List.
Click on a Referral to expand the Outgoing Referral Activity Summary. From here, you can view how many patients have been referred to the source, the dates of the first and most recent referrals along with a list of referrals that occurred within the Last 12 Months.
The list of recent referrals includes the Patient Name, the Referral Date, the Referral Type, the Date the patient was due to see the referral by, and the status.
Reviewing this information allows you to quickly and easily evaluate outstanding work that needs to be followed up on, and you can take action as needed. For example, you might need to navigate to a Patient Record and update the Outgoing Referral if you realize they have a referral that needs to be closed.
See How to Add a Referral Source to a Patient Record and How to Track Referral Activity for more information.
