Problem
When submitting or releasing prescriptions, you may see an error message:
“Session expired.”
This happens because your browser is blocking third-party cookies, which are required for the ePrescription service to stay signed in.
Solution (Google Chrome)
Enable third-party cookies using the steps below. After enabling cookies, the “Session Expired” error should be resolved and prescriptions should submit successfully.
Steps
- Open Google Chrome
- Click the three dots (⋮) in the upper-right corner
- Select Settings
- Click Privacy and security
- Select Third-party cookies (or Cookies and other site data)
- Choose Allow all cookies
✅ Once enabled, refresh your browser and try submitting the prescription again.
Optional (More Secure Setting)
Instead of allowing all cookies, you can allow only the required site:
- Go to Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Under Sites that can always use cookies, click Add
Enter:
[*.]changehealthcare.com
- Check Including third-party cookies
- Click Add
