For practices with multiple locations, you have the ability to change the location you are currently working from.
To change your logged in location:
- From the Location tab, click the + icon to access the Locations menu.
Tip: The + icon is on the tab of the location that is currently selected as your location. See How to Use the All Locations Tab for Multi Location Practices for more information about location features for multi-location practices. - Select the star next to the location that you want to set as your current location. The star is filled in with green.
Selecting the Correct Location for Imaging
All imaging integrations are tied to the current location (i.e., the location that is starred). If you experience issues trying to view or acquire images, confirm that you are logged in to the proper location.
Since different locations tend to have different storage paths set for images, attempting to acquire a new image from the wrong location causes an error as the system is trying to access the wrong image path.
Be sure to set your current location to the location that the capture device is linked to and the patient's images were captured on. For information on setting up imaging solutions for each location, see How to Set Up Imaging.
Note: Selecting the wrong location as your logged in location can also potentially affect card reader devices and other integrations, so it is important to confirm that you have the correct location starred.
