Imaging Bridge Recorded Class
Installing the imaging bridge connects the patient's record in the software to the location of the patient's stored images.
Note:
- There are instances where necessary updates may require reinstallation of the imaging bridge. This process needs to be completed on each computer that is used to acquire and review images or to scan documents into Patient Files.
- Additionally, you may be required to install Windows system updates prior to reinstalling the imaging bridge. Please follow the links provided in the window and complete any required package installation(s) prior to reinstalling the imaging bridge.
To install (or reinstall) the imaging bridge:
- Search and select a Patient.
- Select Clinical > Images.
- Click Install Imaging Bridge.
Note: If prompted, use the provided links to install the required system updates (MS .NET Framework 6.0 and MS ASP.NET Core 6.0) before continuing.
- Click Install Bridge.
- Click CSD.Phoenix.AcquisitionLauncher.Setup.msi in the lower-left of the window.
- After installation, click Acquire New Image.
- When prompted, click Open CSD.Phoenix.AcquisitionLauncher.
Acquiring Images After Setup
To acquire images after setup:
- From the Patient tab, select Clinical > Images.
Note: For Ortho patients, select Patient > Clinical > Orthodontic Clinical Summary > View Images. - Select Acquire New Image. You are prompted to select which imaging software to use.
- Accept the default solution, or click the arrow to select a different solution.
- Click Launch Imaging. The acquisition solution is launched.
