How to Mark an NHS Treatment Item as Referred Out

To mark an item on an NHS treatment plan as having been referred out for external work:

1. In the patient's chart, ensure that the current plan is selected from the drop-down list.
   
2. Click on the Pencil icon to the right of the plan. The Viewing Treatment Plan window is displayed.
3. Click Edit Treatment Plan Details. The Manage Treatment Plan window is displayed.
4. If the treatment is not already on the plan, add it using the Search procedures to add drop-down list.
   
5. To the right of the item being referred out for external work, click the Gear icon.
   
6. Select the Treatment Referred Out option.
   
7. Click Save.
8. Click Save Changes.
