Sensei Cloud allows you to view a list of all of the completed procedures for a patient, and you can also easily make changes to the anatomy of the procedures, and uncomplete procedures as necessary.
This feature allows you to correct mistakes in which a procedure was associated with the wrong anatomy without going through the hassle of uncompleting and recompleting the procedure and reposting the associated charge. You also have the ability to more directly remove errant records (e.g., such as when a procedure was mistakenly recorded for the wrong patient, etc.).
Administrators automatically have access to the Procedure History, but non-Administrator users have to be granted permission. The Procedure History option under the Clinical menu must be enabled in the User Permissions for non-Administrator users to access the Procedure History list for a patient. See How to Assign Group and User Permissions and Permissions List for more information.
To view a patient's Procedure History, select Patient > Clinical > Procedure History. The Procedure History list is displayed.
The list includes line items for each completed procedure, with columns for Service Date, Procedure, Anatomy, Provider, and Location. The list is sorted by Service Date.
When a procedure has been posted as a charge in the Patient Ledger, a dollar sign icon (US) or pound sign
icon (UK) is displayed next to the procedure description.
Editing Procedure Anatomy
When anatomy is included for the procedure, you have the option to edit it. See How to Edit the Anatomy of a Completed Procedure for more information.
Deleting/Uncompleting Procedures
You can also click the Trash Can icon to uncomplete procedures and delete them from the list. This allows you to very easily reverse any errant procedures (along with the associated charges). A message is displayed noting that if the procedure has been posted as a charge and billed to insurance, then any associated claims are canceled and the charge is reversed. Click Yes, Remove to proceed.
Note: When the Trash Can icon is clicked, the procedure is marked as Deleted in the patient's charts (Hard Tissue/Dental Chart and Clinical Chart (EMR)), as well as any associated treatment plans, etc.
