This release includes the following enhancements:

Connected Vitals Monitor Integration Users Need to Reinstall the IoT Software

Sensei Cloud is continuing with ongoing system improvements to create a smoother experience for practices that are using connected Vitals Monitors.

As a result of these enhancements, practices using the Vitals Monitors integration are required to reinstall the IoT software and confirm everything is working properly before seeing patients for surgery (Admin Tab > Devices & Integrations > Connected PCs). From the Actions menu, click Install IoT Software and follow the instructions.

IMPORTANT: You must reinstall the IoT software on every computer on which a Vitals Monitor gets connected.

Note: You may be required to install Windows system updates prior to reinstalling the IoT components. Please follow the instructions provided and complete any required package installation(s).

Introduction of Complex Care Pathways

Sensei Cloud now incorporates Complex Care Pathway (CCP) functionality for NHS England, including sign-up and interim claims and a new Complex Care Pathways worklist, to comply with the CCN 86 Contract Reform Package requirements, and is effective for claims accepted on or after 1 July 2026.

Three Complex Care Pathways are available for adults (i.e., patients 16 years old and above):

Pathway 1: For patients with five or more carious teeth into dentine (and no periodontal disease)
Pathway 2: For patients with five or more carious teeth into dentine and unstable periodontal disease (i.e., Stage II Grade B or above)
Pathway 3: For patients with first new diagnosis of severe Stage 3 / unstable Grade C periodontal disease (or higher)

Sensei Cloud now enables you to use the following CCP core functions:

Complex Care Pathway Sign Up Claims: You have the ability to create a Complex Care Pathway Sign Up Claim by creating and accepting a treatment plan as normal and then selecting the correct Pathway type from the drop-down list within the associated claim.
Concurrent Treatment: There is support for certain concurrent treatment alongside Pathways, with the correct charges and mandatory declarations calculated automatically.
The treatments that can run alongside an active pathway include:
- Band 3 courses of treatment (excluding orthodontic treatment and appliances)
- Denture repairs (charge-exempt)
- Denture modifications, relines or rebasing
- Unscheduled care.
Complex Care Pathways Worklist: A Complex Care Pathway worklist is available from the Location tab (Location > NHS Claims > Complex Care Pathways) to help you track and manage CCPs.

This dedicated worklist brings together every Pathway and the associated claims, with the ability to quickly and easily filter to the claims that require action. There are visual indicators to alert you of claims that are overdue or nearing the reactivation deadline.
Complex Care Pathway Interim Claims: Interim claims are created automatically in sequence as the Pathway progresses. A new claim is generated after the previous claim has been settled (i.e., accepted, adjusted, or manually settled).
Note: If you are unable to see the next claim in sequence for a Complex Care Pathway, the most likely reason is that the next claim has not reached its assigned month yet. A new claim is generated automatically once the previous one is settled, but it only becomes available to open from the first day of its assigned month. Until then, it shows as Pending in the Complex Care Pathway worklist.
Suspended or Incomplete CCPs: Sensei Cloud supports marking a Complex Care Pathway as Suspended or Incomplete. Both Suspended and Incomplete statuses are used when a patient does not complete a Pathway as originally planned, but Suspended indicates that the pathways are paused temporarily (and the Pathway can be reopened within 3 months) and Incomplete indicates that the pathways have ended permanently (no further declarations are accepted and it cannot be reopened).
Important: However, NHS England recently announced a delay in their support for Suspended/Incomplete declarations, and a resolution is expected shortly. It is recommended that practices hold off on submitting Suspended/Incomplete statuses in the meantime, until NHS England confirms next steps.
