Fixes and Small Enhancements

This release of Sensei Cloud focuses on resolving defects and implementing small enhancements to increase overall performance. 

Connected Vitals Monitor Integration users also need to reinstall the IoT software. 

Reinstall the IoT Software

Sensei Cloud is continuing with ongoing system improvements to create a smoother experience for practices that are using connected Vitals Monitors. 

As a result of these enhancements, practices using the Vitals Monitors integration are required to reinstall the IoT software and confirm everything is working properly before seeing patients for surgery (Admin Tab > Devices & Integrations > Connected PCs). From the Actions menu, click Install IoT Software and follow the instructions.

IMPORTANT: You must reinstall the IoT software on every computer on which a Vitals Monitor gets connected.

Note: You may be required to install Windows system updates prior to reinstalling the IoT components. Please follow the instructions provided and complete any required package installation(s).

Defects and Small Enhancements

14 defects and small enhancements were addressed:

• Production and Collections figures on the Location Home page, Schedule Day View, and Springboard dashboard now correctly account for surcharges and related transaction adjustments, keeping headline financial numbers accurate.
• The Production by Provider Report now accounts for surcharges and corrects long-standing provider-production accounting — including Ortho Contract charges, discounts, and write-offs and excluding non-production fees and miscellaneous debits (and their adjustments). Column and print-formatting fixes have also been implemented.
• The Daily Activity Report now presents surcharges and their adjustments with clearer transaction filters, categories, and labels.
• The Payments by Type Report has been updated to include surcharge amounts, and the report correctly attributes each payment's source — extending source labeling to miscellaneous debits, patient transfers, and other fee types, and suppressing net-zero distributions to improve report clarity. 
• For paper insurance claims, Box 44 (Date of Prior Placement) now prints the correct date of service. US Only
• An issue where printed and electronic claims were printing and submitting the date of service as a day in the past has been resolved. US Only
• Sensei Cloud no longer crashes when a Care Credit payment is posted, and Care Credit is now correctly excluded for non-US tenants. UK Only
• The Applied Payments Report for All Locations has been enhanced, no longer running out of memory for large multi-location organizations.
• The Visit Report CSV export now includes the Amount Charged column.
• Emailed patient statements now show the correct 91+ day (aged) balance, consistent with the archived/printed statement.
• Old, unbilled services are now automatically flagged as Never Bill, so they are natively filtered out of the Unbilled Procedures Worklist, helping improve the worklist performance for large and converted organizations.
• Clinical note templates that were displaying as blank have been restored.
• Anesthesia vitals recording now recovers automatically when a forced blood-pressure (NIBP) reading fails.
• A Criticare vitals monitor issue where the device was halted by a "COM port in use" error and required a forced stop has been resolved.
