When there are duplicate imaging records in Sensei Imaging, you have the ability to combine the records into one.
For example, duplicate records might exist due to scenarios like the following:
- There are two imaging records with the same Patient Name, birthdate, and gender but with a different Primary ID
- There are two imaging records because the birthdate that was initially entered was incorrect and when the date is corrected and an image is acquired, a new record is created for the patient with the correct birthdate
To merge duplicate imaging records in Sensei Imaging, the details of the duplicate imaging records must be updated to match. These details include the Name, Primary ID, Birthdate, and Gender.
To update the conflicting imaging record details:
- Click View next to the patient's imaging record. The patient's imaging record is opened.
- Click the Edit Patient
icon to edit the patient record. The Patient Edit window is displayed.
- Update the conflicting item (e.g., Primary ID) to match the other record.
- Click Confirm. If all of the record details match, the records are merged and all of the images from the two records should be present in a single record.
