The following enhancements have been put in place for customers in the UK, to facilitate regulatory compliance beginning on dates indicated:
CCN70 Compliance
Beginning 6 April, 2025, Sensei Cloud will prompt you to update patient records to remove the Tax Credit Exemption when you are working with the relevant interfaces. Claims created with the tax credit exemption prior to this date will still reflect the exemption.
CCN75 Compliance (Wales)
For customers in Wales, new treatment codes and associated claim fields have been added, effective for NHS claims on or after 1 April, 2025.
There are three additional checkboxes in the Other Services section of the claim:
- DAP New Patient - Patient has registered via DAP (Dental Access Portal) for non-urgent treatment.
- New Urgent Patient Referral - Patient has been referred via DAP (Dental Access Portal) for urgent treatment.
- Did Not Attend - Patient has been referred via DAP (Dental Access Portal) for urgent treatment but has not turned up for any appointments.
Option to Re-Open Treatment Plans (US Only)
Following up on functionality that was recently added for Sensei Cloud customers in the UK, practices in the US can now re-open a completed treatment plan. When you click on a patient's completed treatment plan (Patient > Treatment Plans), there is now an Uncomplete option at the bottom of the window.
Use this button to re-open and edit the plan to add more details and/or procedures.
