You have the ability to attach a link to a practice’s website, which allows patients to book their check-up appointment when they receive their recall notification.
Note: This is only possible if the practice has their online booking service/schedule set up.
To attach an online booking link to a recall notification:
- Log in to Patient Bridge using a Practice Manager account.
- Click Communications.
- Click Recalls.
- Click Configure Recalls.
- From the Actions drop-down list of the recall that you want to add a link to, select Manage Recall Channels.
- From the Actions drop-down list of the required recall channel, select Edit.
- Under the Patient Portal Online Booking section, use the Service To Use For Booking drop-down list to select the service that will be linked to this recall.
- Select the Restrict Booking to Registered Dentist option if you want the patient's online booking to be restricted to the patient's currently assigned dentist.
Note: You should leave this deselected for hygienist bookings. - Click Save.
- Return to the Recalls screen, and then select Manage Templates.
- From the Actions drop-down list of the template that is being used by the recall channel that was configured in the preceding steps, select Edit.
- Locate the online booking link that is set up for the specified service (located in the Admin section under Online Booking Configuration > Website Links).
- Copy and paste the online booking link into the template.
- Save the template.
