Double-Booking Appointments Recorded Class
Sensei Cloud allows your practice to double-book appointments on the schedule when the need arises. For example, your practice might want to double-book an appointment when there is a walk-in for a minor issue.
Note:
-- The Location Allows Double Booking setting must be enabled for your practice location in your Schedule Settings (Administration > Scheduler > Schedule Settings) (US) or Diary Settings (Administration > Diary > Diary Settings) (UK) in order to double-book appointments.
-- If you try to double-book an appointment for a location that does not have this setting enabled, a message is displayed warning you that the location does not allow double-booking.
To double-book an appointment from the Schedule Day View or Diary Day View:
- Select a time slot by clicking and dragging the area next to the existing appointment until the desired duration is reached.
- Click the Plus (+) icon to add a new appointment.
- Search for and select an existing patient or create a new patient, if needed. The Appointment window is displayed.
- In the Search to add procedures field, add the procedures for the appointment.
Note: The procedure list that is set as the default is displayed automatically. You can use the drop-down list on the right to select a different list of procedures to search from. For the UK, you can select a scheme to search from. See How to Use Multiple Procedure Lists / Fee Schedules for more information. - View the information in the Appointment Info tab and add or edit the items as needed.
- Click Schedule Appointment.
You can review a quick summary of either appointment by hovering over the appointment. Click the appointment to view the full details.
When there are overlapping appointments, an icon with the number of appointments is displayed. Click the number to view all of the events scheduled for the time.
When clicked, the overlapping appointment tiles line up and are easily visible. This arrangement allows you to hover over any of the appointments to see a preview of the appointment details or click on them for the full details.
