Sensei Cloud enables Doctors (Dentists) to create a secure PIN to use when signing off on new or existing Clinical Notes. The team member must be assigned the role of Doctor and must be logged in to set their own PIN in the team member settings.
To create a PIN:
- Doctors with Administrator group permissions: Navigate to Administration > Team > Team Members.
Doctors without Administrator group permissions: Navigate to User Menu > My Settings. - If accessing from the Administration tab, click on the doctor's name. Otherwise, proceed to the next step.
- Click Edit Selected Team Member.
- Scroll to the Personal Information section.
- In the PIN field, type a number from 4-10 digits (no letters, spaces, or special characters allowed).
- Click Save Team Member. The PIN can now be used to sign clinical notes.
Other users cannot view the PIN field when viewing/editing the doctor's record.
Note: To change the PIN, the doctor must click Reset next to the PIN field, enter the new PIN, and save their record. Only the doctor can set or reset their PIN; other administrators do not have access to this field in the team member record.
