For customers in the United States, the Interactions by Referral Source Report provides information on interactions with referral sources based on entries in the Public Relations tab of the Referral Entry for the source. See How to Manage Referral Sources for more information on entering referral gifts or activities.
To generate the report:
- On the Location tab, click the plus sign (+) and then select All Locations.
Note: This report is available only in the All Locations tab, and is not accessible within the individual location tabs. However, if your practice only has one location, you can select the individual Location tab. - Select Referrals > Interactions by Referral Source. A list of referral names, along with the practice address, phone, email, last event date, and total value is displayed. Use the Filter options to refine the list by event date range, type (Gift, Activity, or Other), or value.
- Select a line item to display more details, including the event type and notes.
- Under Actions, click Export to Excel to export this report to a spreadsheet, or click Print Report to print it or save it as .PDF file.
Note: The expandable data that displays when you click on a line item is not included in the printed report. To obtain a more detailed report, use the export function.
Note: The Referral Source Management and Referral Reports functionalities are accessible by team members who are included in the Administrators group. Users that are not Administrators need to be granted permission to access the Interactions by Referral Source Report. See How to Assign Group and User Permissions for more information on how to edit user permissions.
