Sensei Imaging Training Catalog
Sensei Imaging integrates seamlessly with Sensei Cloud. If you are using CS Imaging with Sensei Imaging, through which images are stored locally, you can have both options enabled for a practice or location. If both options are enabled, you are prompted to select one when you acquire a patient image.
Location Imaging Setup
Imaging integration occurs at the location level, using the Administration tab settings, and at the patient level, by the installation of the Imaging Bridge.
Note: You must have Administrator permissions to perform location setup.
To set up the Sensei Imaging integration for your location:
- From the Administration tab, select Devices & Integrations > Imaging. The Imaging Settings are displayed.
- Select the Location for the setup, if your practice has more than one.
- Under Actions, click Edit Imaging Settings. The fields become editable.
- Select the checkbox to enable one or both of the following:
- CSI with Sensei Imaging, and then use the Imaging Directory field to designate the local directory for storing images.
- Sensei Imaging (direct 3rd party acquisition).
Note: If you select both, you are prompted to select the green star next to the one that is your designated default solution. - Click Save.
Patient Imaging Bridge
The patient imaging bridge connects a patient record in Sensei Cloud to the patient's stored images. All acquired images remain in the original storage location, such as the acquisition machine or local network folder. Stored images are not uploaded to the cloud or directly accessible within Sensei Cloud. The patient name or ID serves as the connection between Sensei Cloud and the installed imaging software.
To install the Imaging Bridge:
- From the Patient tab, select Clinical > Images.
- Under Actions, select Install Imaging Bridge. A Minimum Requirements prompt is displayed with more information.
Note: The Imaging Bridge that is installed is based on the imaging software selected in Location Imaging Setup. - Click Install Bridge.
- When the bridge installation is complete, click Acquire New Image to launch the image acquisition software and pass the patient information to the acquisition client.
Acquiring Images After Setup
To acquire images after setup:
- From the Patient tab, select Clinical > Images.
- Select Acquire New Image. If you have more than one option enabled, you are prompted to select which imaging software to use.
- Accept the default solution (displayed), or click the arrow to select a different solution.
- Click Launch Imaging. The selected acquisition solution is launched.
