How to Print a Patient's Clinical History

You can print a patient's clinical history from the Hard Tissue Chart (US) or Dental Chart (UK). The history includes the current graphical tooth chart, as well as day- and event-based clinical notes. This print function generates a .PDF file that can be printed, saved, or sent as an email attachment.

To print a patient's clinical history:

1. From the Patient tab, select Clinical > Hard Tissue Chart or Dental Chart.
2. Under Mode, select Current.
3. Under Actions, select Print Clinical History. A .PDF file is generated that includes a standard header (practice information, patient information, and reference date), the graphical tooth chart, and the current list of clinical notes.

Note: The .PDF file does not contain procedures, watches, diagnoses, or chief complaints, but does include any clinical notes appended to these clinical events.
