New Features, Fixes, and Enhancements
This release includes the following enhancements:
Improved Layout for Orthodontic Contracts
The Orthodontic Contracts window (Patient > Financials > Contracts > New/Edit Contract) has been updated to a cleaner view that allows for less vertical scrolling.
- The initial Contract details and the Payment & Schedule sections are now arranged in a three column layout, allowing you to view more information at once.
- There is a new Contract Allocation Summary section (highlighted in blue) which allows practices to quickly allocate the overall Contract total across guarantors and insurance companies (US only) associated with the contract.
- Use the Allocation Summary to see a high-level view of who is responsible for what portion of the Contract total before diving into the Charge Schedule details.
- By default, the entire Contract Fee is allocated to the Guarantor Amount. Enter the Amount that Insurance is responsible for, and the Guarantor amount is updated accordingly.
Note: Entering the Insurance amount in this section automatically populates the starting values in the relevant fields under the Insurance Charge Schedule section. The Guarantor amount is automatically adjusted to subtract the insurance amount. - You can adjust the fields in the Charge Schedule as usual and proposed charge schedules are generated for the Guarantor and Insurance Plan (if applicable).
- Click Remove Schedule to remove an Insurance Charge Schedule from a contract.
