Practices that store their images externally (outside of Sensei Cloud) must perform the following steps to attach images to an NEA FastAttach claim.
To attach images:
- From the Location tab, select Claims > Claims Management. Claims that need attachments are flagged as Awaiting Attachments.
- Select a claim to view the Claim Summary.
- Click Submit Attach. The claim information is sent to the NEA FastAttach service, and the Claim Status is updated to Awaiting Attachment Confirmation.
- Log in to the NEA FastAttach service.
- Select Attachments > Unsent Attachments or select Attachments, and then click the # Unsent Attachments tile. The Unsent Attachments queue is displayed, and you can see the status of each attachment.
- Click the blue Edit button next to the claim. A window with more attachment options is displayed.
- Select a provider from the Sending Provider drop-down list and type any information or comments in the Narrative field.
- Use the Screen Capture or File Upload options to attach the images.
- Indicate the Image Type for each image. For x-rays, you must also choose the Orientation.
- Click Save. The claim status changes to Ready to Send in the Unsent Attachments queue.
- When you are ready to send, select the attachment in the queue, and then click Send.
A message that the attachment was successfully sent is displayed. NEA finalizes the claim attachment record and sends the Attachment Reference Number back to Sensei Cloud, where the claim is automatically updated with the NEA link information.
Note: It could take several minutes for the claim's status to be updated in Sensei Cloud. - Return to the Claims Management screen in Sensei Cloud. Once NEA has updated Sensei Cloud, the status of the claim changes to Pending Review.
Tip: To verify, select the Show Only Pending Review filter on the left side of the screen. - Select the claim with the new attachment and click Submit Claim.
