How to Attach a Narrative to an NEA Claim

If you are using NEA FastAttach® for electronic claims that accept attachments, you can attach a narrative to an NEA Fast Attach Claim.

To attach a narrative:

1. From the Patient tab, select Insurance > Claims Management. 
2. Select a claim to view the Claim Summary.
3. Select Add Attachments. The Add New Claim Attachment(s) window is displayed.
4. For Attachment Type, select Narrative. 
5. Use the Narrative Text entry field to enter information and comments, or select from the Use Template list and click Add Template Text.
6. Click Save.
7. Click Submit Claim.  The claim attachment information is sent to the NEA FastAttach service, and the Claim Status is updated to Awaiting Attachment Confirmation.
8. Log into the NEA FastAttach service, locate the associated claim record, confirm, and send the attachments.
