How to Attach a Perio Record to an NEA Claim

If you are using NEA FastAttach® for electronic claims that accept attachments, you can attach a copy of the patient's Perio record to an NEA Fast Attach Claim.

To attach a patient's Perio record:

1. From the Patient tab, select Insurance > Claims Management. 
2. Select the claim to display the summary details.
3. Click Add Attachments. The Add New Claim Attachment(s) window is displayed.
   
4. Select Perio Exam, and then select the exam date.
5. Click Save.
6. Click Submit Claim. The claim attachment information is sent to the NEA FastAttach service, and the Claim Status is updated to Awaiting Attachment Confirmation.
7. Log into the NEA FastAttach service, locate the associated claim record, confirm, and send the attachments.
