Checking Patients In and Out Recorded Class
When patients are Checked In for their appointment at the office location, they are automatically added to the Waiting Queue. The queue displays the patient’s name and scheduled appointment time by default.
If you hover the cursor on a patient in the queue, additional details about the patient’s appointment are displayed, including the assigned chair, associated provider, scheduled procedures, and how long the patient has been checked in. Additionally, the indicator of duration changes to red once the patient has been waiting for more than 5 minutes past the scheduled start time of the appointment.
Note:
--Queued appointments are only visible for today and yesterday. To view additional appointments, navigate to the patient's Home tab or the Schedule Day View.
--If the logged-in user is a doctor or hygienist, the appointment tiles are filtered to only display their appointments.
Click on the patient in the queue to view additional information, including the doctor and procedures for today's appointment, any previous appointment information, and the patient's Last X-Ray dates.
You can also seat the patient, review their chart, or modify the appointment from this window.
