You can print a Treatment Plan directly from the patient's Treatment Plan window or from the Hard Tissue Chart in Planning mode. When you print a selected plan, a .PDF file is created that you can print, save, or email to the patient.
Note: Treatment Plans printed from the Hard Tissue Chart always include the graphical chart, as well as the option to include clinical notes.
From the Treatment Plan
To print the treatment plan:
- From the Patient tab, select Treatment Plans. The name of the current plan is displayed underneath the patient's name. Use the drop-down list to view or select a different plan or Unmanaged Procedures for the patient.
- Select the procedures in the list to print.
Note: To Select All, select the option next to Procedure. - Under Actions, click Print Selected. A .PDF file is created.
From the Hard Tissue Chart
When you print from the Hard Tissue Chart, the .PDF file includes the graphical tooth chart and the option to include clinical notes entered from the time the treatment plan was created through the date of printing (or the date the plan was completed, whichever is first).
To print the treatment plan:
- From the Patient tab, select Clinical > Hard Tissue Chart.
- Under Mode, select Planning. The current plan is displayed, and the the chart graphic displays all of the patient’s current existing and completed work, as well as the selected plan’s proposed procedures.
Note: You can use the drop-down list to select a different plan, but the Print option is not available when Unmanaged Procedures is selected. - Under Actions, select Print Selected Plan. A message is displayed asking if you want to include the associated clinical notes.
- Click Yes or No. A .PDF file is created.
Note: The clinical notes include only day- and event-based rich text notes that are entered, not the underlying clinical events themselves.
