How to Chart a Closed Up Gap

To chart a Closed Up Gap in the Hard Tissue Chart (US) or Dental Chart (UK):

1. From the Patient tab, select Clinical > Hard Tissue Chart/Dental Chart.
2. Click the tooth number of the missing or extracted tooth (e.g. Tooth 5).
3. Select Set as Extracted or Set as Missing.
4. Click the tooth number to the right of the extracted/missing tooth.
5. Select Drifting.
6. Select Distally.
   
7. Select the tooth number to the left of the extracted/missing tooth.
8. Select Drifting.
9. Select Mesially.
   
   The chart graphically represents the teeth drifting into the gap of Tooth [#], and associated clinical notes are also added to the patient's chart.
