Bulk Statement Enhancements
The Sensei Cloud team has updated the process for bulk statement generation to improve performance when generating, printing, and sending statement batches.
You should now see faster system speed with these processes, as well as notifications on the relevant screens to keep you informed of the progress.
- When you are generating a batch (Location > To Do > Statement Worklist), a message is displayed informing you that the process is occurring in the background. This message is displayed until you close it or until the process is complete.
- When you access the Bulk Statement Reports screen (Location > Archives > Bulk Statement Reports), you will also see a notification that a batch is in progress. This screen displays the date, time, and details for the batch once it is complete.
- Regardless of where you are working in Sensei Cloud, a message is displayed briefly to let you know when a batch generation is complete.

Secondary Claim Processing Enhancements
In response to reports of secondary claim rejections that occurred when a patient or policy holder Date of Birth was missing or invalid, a validation check has been added to the claim creation process. These incidents were generally related to data converted from a customer's previous system, when creating secondary claims.
The validation check now displays an alert if this field is not complete, or if the information is entered or formatted incorrectly for the current claims clearinghouse requirements. The message includes instructions for correcting the problem and continuing the workflow.
'S' Added to Secondary Claim ID Numbers
Claim numbers for secondary claims now end in S, whereas claim numbers for primary claims end in P. This visual distinction has been added to help users identify secondary claims on the Claims Management screen, and to help ensure proper and timely processing.

COMING SOON: Additional validation checks on secondary claims (such as primary payment information) to improve processing time and accuracy.
Payment Plan Icon on Patient Ledger
If a patient has one or more active payment plans, an icon is displayed at the top of the ledger to alert you at a glance.

Defects and Small Enhancements
Nine additional items were addressed, including these two from popular UserVoice requests:
- A Notes section has been added to the Insurance Plan Create/Update window (Administration > Insurance > Plans), where you can store notes for a plan as you can for a payer. (US Only)
- Several US territories have been added to the State selection list. (US Only)
(Patient > Patient Record > Contact Information > Address)
