New Features, Fixes, and Enhancements
Anesthesia Record ECG Vitals Snapshot
For Oral Surgery customers, the Anesthesia Record feature has been enhanced to enable the capture of an ECG snapshot from a connected vital signs monitor. ECG snapshots record a patient's sinus rhythm waveform at a selected point during a procedure. This file is saved as part of the Anesthesia Record (Surgery Vitals tab), and in Patient Files as a .jpg image.
Configuring ECG Settings
Before you can capture an ECG snapshot, you must configure the settings:
- Select Administration > Devices & Integrations > Connected PCs.
- From the list of connected PCs and monitors, select a monitor and click the pencil icon to edit.
- Under ECG Settings, enter the appropriate settings and click Save Device.
Note: Only the Poet Plus 8100 and nCompass 8100H monitors from Criticare Technologies, Inc. are currently supported by Sensei Cloud.
Capturing an ECG Snapshot
You can capture an ECG snapshot from the Surgery Vitals tab while you are recording vitals from a connected monitor during a procedure. (Clinical Chart (EMR) > Add to Chart > Anesthesia Record)
- Use the Capture Snapshot button to capture the ECG at that moment in the procedure. A message is briefly displayed to let you know the capture has occurred. The date, time, and relevant measurements are recorded.
- Use the ECG Snapshots drop-down list to see a list of snapshots taken during this recorded procedure, and select an item from the list to view the snapshot.
- The snapshot is also added to the Event Log at the bottom of the tab and stored in Patient Files.

Perio Charting Enhancements
Following up on recent enhancements to the Perio Chart interface (Patient > Clinical > Perio Chart > Record New Exam), you will now see these additional improvements:
- The controls/values panel is displayed on the right portion of the screen, enabling you to display the entire data grid while recording an exam, without the need to use full-screen mode.
- Numerical entry into the grid for Furcation (1-4) and Mobility (1-3) has been enabled.
- The Perio Exam Legend (Actions > View Legend) has been updated for referencing values and new keyboard shortcuts.
