Sensei Cloud allows you to store a list of pharmacies that can be selected as the preferred pharmacy for patients.
The Pharmacies List can be edited at any time and each pharmacy entry can include the following information: Pharmacy Name (required), an additional identifier for the pharmacy, phone number, address, and any relevant notes.
Note: The Pharmacies List is informational and is not integrated with any online repository or the ePrescriptions service.
To add a pharmacy to the Pharmacies List:
- From the Administration tab, select Practice Settings > Pharmacies. The Pharmacies list is displayed for all locations.
- Under Actions, click Create New Pharmacy. The Create Pharmacy window is displayed.
- Enter a name for the pharmacy. Note: This is the only required field.
- If applicable, include an identifier for the pharmacy.
Note: This field is for instances where you have multiple pharmacies with the same name. You can add additional information to make the pharmacy immediately identifiable, such as the general location (e.g., Downtown). - Enter the pharmacy's address.
Note: It is not a requirement to add an address, but when a street has been entered, you are then required to also enter the City, State, and Zip Code. - Enter the pharmacy's phone number.
- Add any additional notes (e.g., Hours of Operation, etc.).
- Click Create.
To make changes to a pharmacy in the list:
- Click on the Pharmacy Name. The Update Pharmacy window is displayed.
- Make changes as needed.
Note: You can also select Inactive to deactivate a pharmacy. Deactivating a pharmacy record will prevent it from being selected for patients going forward, but it is does not remove the pharmacy from the preferences of patients who currently have it assigned. - Click Update.
Under Filter Templates, you have the ability to search for a pharmacy (typing a minimum of 2 characters). You can search by the pharmacy name, phone number, address, etc. Additionally, you can filter the list to display Active, Inactive, or All pharmacies.
