Product Enhancements and New Features
User Interface Enhancements
As part of an ongoing effort to improve the organization and functionality of Sensei Cloud, the following areas of the interface have been updated.
Clinical Chart (EMR)
The information at the top of the Clinical Chart (EMR) screen (Patient > Clinical) has been enhanced to include a Patient Information container for the patient's active Referral Source, as well as Additional Outside Doctors, last X-ray date, and Preferred Pharmacy (coming soon).
The data visible in the first three containers has been increased by breaking it into two columns. You can now see the four most recent entries (or updated entries) rather than two.
Note: Click the black triangle to expand a container and access additional entries, information, or history.
For more information, see How to Track Visits with the Clinical Chart (EMR) or Oral Surgery Clinical Chart (EMR).
Patient Home Screen
The Patient Home screen demographics area (upper left) has been reorganized, so that the more permanent information is displayed on the left, and the more transient, changing information (such as ortho treatment status, model box number, waiting lists) is displayed on the right. This area will also display new items such as outside doctor, preferred pharmacy, etc.
Note: The Active/Inactive status has been removed from this display area. However, when you select a patient who is not currently active, the word INACTIVE is displayed next to the patient name.
Appointment Management Queue Enhancement
To improve system performance, queued appointments (Checkout Queue, Waiting Queue, Seated Queue) are automatically filtered to display only appointments for the current and previous day. Additionally, providers (doctors and hygienists) who are logged in will only see appointments associated with them.
This change was implemented to prevent the queued tiles from stacking up, as this can result in slowed system response.
Previous appointments that are not processed through the queues within two days can still be accessed from Patient Home screens (Appointments list), or by navigating backward through the Schedule Day View.
Vitals Monitor Integration (US Only)
The ability to integrate with Vital Signs Monitors has been turned on automatically for all US Oral Surgery customers.
For more information, see How to Set Up Vitals Monitor Integration.
Defects and Small Enhancements
Two additional items were addressed.
