Product Enhancements and New Features
Sensei Cloud Reminders
The Sensei Cloud team is thrilled to deliver this season's most anticipated new feature! Use Reminders to create date- or patient-specific notifications that help ensure you never miss an important time-sensitive task. You can create reminders for yourself, or assign them to the appropriate resources on your team.
When you log on, the Reminders window pops up with a list of tasks assigned to you, where you can address them right away or snooze them for a bit. The access point for Reminders is the filing cabinet icon next to your User menu.
Creating a Reminder
When you remember a task that needs doing, but you don't have time to handle it right now, click .
In the Reminders window, click Add New Reminder. Use this space to enter the details you don't want to forget. Myself is the default assignment, but you can select Someone Else, and the task will move to their Reminders list after it is saved.
You also have the option to:
- Assign Group - Individual Completion for tasks multiple users must complete for themselves, such as updating their time cards or completing required training.
- Assign Group - Shared Completion for tasks that somebody on the list needs to handle, and you don't care which person gets it done.
Note: When a reminder is saved, it moves automatically to the Reminders list of the assignee, and displays there once that window is closed/refreshed for the user.
Processing Reminders
You can always glance over at the file cabinet to see how many reminders are due today (green) or if something is overdue (oops!), you will see red. Blue means you are all good for now, but you can click the icon any time to access the Reminders window and your list of tasks.
- Totals at the top give you the numbers at a glance.
- The Filter defaults to Due, so today's tasks (or overdue ones) greet you when you log in, but you can filter the list to suit your needs.
- Snooze the list if you want, or Dismiss it to retrieve later.
- Click a reminder to expand the details. Patient-specific reminders provide the links you need to address patient-related tasks.
- Easy-to-use controls let you edit a task, discard it, or -- most importantly -- click the little green check to mark it complete!
Enjoy this new feature, and be sure to share your thoughts in User Voice.

Schedule/Diary Daily Notes
To provide another way to communicate throughout your office, the Diary Day View / Schedule Day View now includes a yellow sticky note area where you can enter a notification for any specific day, that everyone in the practice can see when they access the Diary or Schedule. This is a good way to remind the team of an event, upcoming change in hours, or about something they might need to share with patients during their interactions.
This note space is both visible and editable by all users, and is meant to display general, day-related information to the entire team in an informal way. Users can collapse or expand the note on their computers as desired.
For more information, see How to Create Schedule or Diary Notes.
Perio Charting Enhancements
Following up on recent enhancements to the Perio Chart interface, you will now see these additional improvements:
- The ability to navigate by clicking into the next or desired cell in the table.
(Thanks to all the User Voices who requested this!) - The ability to record double-digit pocket depth.
Hold the Ctrl key down to type two numbers into the field. - A Bleed value indicator and Bleeding Index that summarizes the percentage of bleeding on probing (BOP). Also, a hotkey shortcut (B) enables you to record this data quickly and keep moving.
