Capturing and Viewing Images with Sensei Imaging

Capturing and Viewing Images Recorded Class

This procedure is for clinical team members using the Sensei Imaging software.

To capture images:

1. Select Patient > Clinical > Images. The Images screen is displayed.
2. Under Actions, select Acquire New Image. You are prompted to select an imaging software to use.
3. Select Sensei Imaging from the drop-down menu and then click Launch Imaging.
4. Select Capture Images > Confirm Worklist Specification > Capture Images.
5. Select the device that you are using to capture images:
   • Intraoral—Select the teeth numbers.
   • FMS—Select the progression.
   • Extraoral images—Follow the manufacturer's instructions to capture images.
6. Select the modality, if applicable, and then click OK.
7. For a single image, select the teeth; for a progression, select the series.
8. When the sensor is ready, acquire the image.
9. When the image populates in the XV Capture preview, click Save & Go Back/Home.
10. Click the X to close the XV Capture window.

You can also use the right menu bar to capture these images:

• 4BW—Captures a 4BW progression
• FMX18—Captures a FMX#18 progression
• PX—Captures a PX/Panoramic image
