Objective
If there is an outage defined by Apteryx Status Page and customer is using XVCapture locally to acquire and view images from Sensei, these steps can be used to continue using XVCapture in a stand-alone fashion until the outage has been resolved.
Procedure
- From a station that currently has XVCapture installed and configured, Launch XVCapture from Desktop Shortcut Icon.
- Notice the Menu options Capture or View Images. Select based on whether capturing new images or viewing historical images.
- The next window for either option will display a patient look-up, where from Sensei this information would be auto-populated, now the office will need to manually enter in the patient First and Last name details to either search for the patient. If existing select patient name, or create a new* record for new patient.
*may need to be linked back to Sensei patient ID after outage is resolved.
- After selecting patient:
For the Capture option > select Capture Images
Use as normal workflow. Images captured may delay in forwarding, depending on the outage.
For the View Images option > select Query for Images
A list of studies and images will appear. Can select tree for entire Patient, or a specific study. To view and download from data server to view locally select the object and select View Patient/Study.
You can also enable Show Thumbnails on right-hand side to see a preview of the image before opening in viewer.
