Sensei Cloud allows you to add service locations that differ from your practice locations, such as hospitals or mobile clinics. You select a service location when posting or adjusting a charge, and the information is included on dental and medical insurance claims.
On insurance claims, the service location is transmitted as the treatment information, while the practice location is transmitted as the billing information.
To add or edit a service location:
- From the Administration tab, click Locations > Service Locations. Existing service locations are listed on the left side.
- Under Actions, select Create New Location or select a location and click Edit Selected Location. The entry fields become active.
- In the Location section:
-The Status defaults to Active. Click Inactive if you no longer use the service location and want to remove it as an available selection when posting a charge.
-Enter the official Business Name.
- Enter the Physical Address for the location.
- In the Contact Information section, enter the Main phone number for the location.
- You can also enter additional information for the service location such as an email, website, additional phone number, or any social media accounts, etc., though these fields are not required.
- In the Business section:
-Enter the NPI Number. This is required on claim forms. The NPI number is automatically printed in Box 32a of the paper medical claim form.
-Select the Place of Service Code from the drop-down list. The selected number is automatically printed in Box 24b of the paper medical claim form.

- Click Save.
Note: To add a new service location more efficiently, you have the option to select Display required fields only.
To mark service locations that are no longer used as inactive:
- Click on the location.
- Click Edit Selected Location. The entry fields become active.
- Under the Location section, click Inactive.
- Click Save.
You have the option to filter the service location list by Active, Inactive, or All locations.
