Automatic Recalls disperse recalls on a day-to-day basis, which can be more manageable for staff. If, for example, recall reminders are 1-month pre-appointment, Patient Bridge would look at today's date and send the recall reminder 1 month from today; for example, on 1 June, July's recalls would send reminders.
To Configure Automatic Recalls:
- From the main menu, select Communications > Recalls.
- Select Configure Recalls.
- Provide a name for this configuration, such as Dental Recalls.
- Tick the box for Automatically send?.
- Specify whether to send Due recalls or Overdue recalls.
- Specify a timeframe forward from today's date.
- Select whether to send recalls via Email, SMS, Letter, or a combination of these options.
- Select a template to use for the recall message.
- Select a group from the list.
NOTE: Groups are configured in the Manage Groups section. - Click Confirm to save the changes.
